- People that have food allergies might also have this disease. Shellfish, tree nuts, wheat, and dairy products are the common allergens.
- Flavorings, colorings, and chemical preservatives are mostly found in fast or processed food. People with this condition might be allergic to such artificial ingredients.
- The consumption of foods that give off gas puts more pressure on the diaphragm. This situation can cause the tightening of the chest and act like triggers. These foods include fried foods, garlic, onions, carbonated drinks, cabbage, and beans.
